I sorry you childhood was horrible. I Also grew up with 8 children in my family. My father was an alcoholic and quick drinking when I was ten. He’s been sober for fifty one years now. My mother beat us with whatever was close to her. I guess I was smart enough to stay as far and out of reach from her has possible. My oldest sister tells me how my mother beat her with a two by four because she thought my sister lied to her. My.mother died eighteen years ago and I still have know feeling about her being gone.
I hope you have healed. It has takin me years of therapy and still have trust issues.
