  1. This is on point man, I was in a horrible depression after my separation, lost the every day time I was spending with my son and it drove me insane. Fell into alcoholism, cocaine and anxiety attacks. I reached out for help and ended up on “Anti Depressants” After about 3 months on them I became worse, far worse. Fast forward 6 months, Im off the meds and started working out, even doing two a days. I got my body and mind right starting with my body. going on 7 months sober and I feel like I’ve 10xd my life already, I’m now excited about living in the “now”.

  2. The 3 patterns are:
    1) What you focus on
    2) What meaning you give things
    3) Your mood how you feel about things in general that impacts how you view everything, maybe with a negative bias for example

  3. This is honestly inspiring me to get back in touch with my therapist. She always made it clear to me that therapy and medication is the ideal combo, not just one. When I was doing therapy on no meds, I was making progress, feeling happy, but then, if something remotely negative happened, I’d crash and have a breakdown. Now, on meds, but with no therapy, I don’t have super low moments anymore, but I’m not progressing and making changes, I’m stagnant. Tony is right when he mentions how medication doesn’t treat the root of the problem, it just a stabilizer. It helps you get to the point where you can make the next step at getting better.

  4. The triad – focus, physiology, and language/meaning – and the fact that they determine our state – is one of the foundational concepts of Tony Robbins’ teachings. This one concept alone has shifted so much for me in terms of daily mindset, productivity, and fulfillment.

  5. I want to hate Tony Robbins and all the self-improvement guru-talk, but I can’t. The man spits facts. Period.

  6. Damn this was probably one of the most introspective clips I’ve heard.. Crazy enough I’ve been fully aware of this for quite some time & yet I keep slipping back into the same problem… I have so much on my plate & have been stuck in such a poor environment, to say the very least, that my mind has been spinning out of control & the anxiety, depression & stress, anger, resentment, etc. have been killing me.. I try to move around every day at least walk & I’ve been closely monitoring my diet for the longest time…. Ugh I’m rambling at this point but I really have been trying so hard to make it through & It gets so bad at times it’s scary the thoughts that go through my head.. Judging by the end of the video perhaps I need to work out even more.. I just never feel like I have time with everything on my plate =/

  11. No matter how many times I hear Tony’s story about Thanksgiving, I still manage to tear up…

5:10…. He said he didn’t want to disrespect him sitting with the bottom of his shoe up so close to him… that’s so thoughtful… so interesting the things that people do, for reasons that can be so surprising… like, I never would have guessed that, but I’m glad those guys said something about it, just to learn that a guy would even think that way…

No idea why I said any of this… 🤷🏼‍♀ Great video though ✌🏼😊

  12. I enjoy listening to Tony he makes sense on all your needs and things if you just listen you can make small changes just have to want to do

  13. Yess, and it’s also a kind of a western take on Eastern self-development based cultures, like Yoga in India or any other concrete spiritual path for self-realization 🙏🏼

  14. A lot of guys that actually know the weight and knowledge another man holds will always show respect and the shoe thing is kinda a guy thing ur supposed to sit the same way at business meetings or interviews with too unless your a bum and don’t know what ur doing but most ppl that are in the business world know that your supposed to sit in that posture 🤷‍♂️💯

  15. I’m the same way. After much thinking, I realized that instead of focusing so much on the past and future and what I’m missing, I need to live more in the moment and appreciate everything I have right now. I catch myself feeling like I take everything in my life for granted, but I somehow still slip into negative thoughts and get caught in the cycle again. I guess it’s a constant battle, but the way I see it is as long as I realize this is happening, it’s okay because that means I’m actively trying to change. It would be bad if this cycle continued and I stayed oblivious to what’s causing it.

  16. Tony Robbins way of thinking is inspirational. I’ve watched numerous videos of his speaking on certain topics and he really helps you to self reflect on problems that you maybe having.

  17. 99% sure it was a BS story (like most of his stories)
Ironic how he brings up ego

  18. Start with finding just 2 minutes to work out. Do that for a week or two until it becomes regular. Start adding on time gradually to the 2 minutes. Don’t jump from 2 minutes to half an hour. 2, 5, 10, 15, 30… etc.

In about 9-13 weeks, you’ll have developed a habit around exercising. And it all started with 2 minutes a day.

Can you fit two minutes in?

If so, look at your day now… where does it fit? Write down “I will exercise for 2 minutes at ____ each day this week.” Put that somewhere you can see it!

    Good luck !

  19. I really like hearing about his life. It helps see him as a human even though he’s super human too 😊

  20. I really appreciate Tony’s mindset. He’s done a great job over the years of weeding out distractions and helping people identify the source of the mindset that put them in their current situation

  21. I love Tony Robbins. His material has helped me so much in my life.

  22. Just listen to Tony Robbins everyday and your life will turn around. It did for me.

  23. Just goes to show the difference in character, awareness of self and others, respect, and professionalism between them. The one who made the comments because they were jealous of the fact that he received attention because of his intellectual ability and the ability to follow along and comprehend what was being discussed.

When the Paul borther screamed yes at the antidepressants… We know why.

Because no matter how much money he throws at the hole that eats at him, it’s him that digs it. And that’s the hardest thing for any of us to take.

That we are all looking at ourselves. All the time. All a fractal, a reflection, Maya.

  24. @Andreea M because you do not understand. Sorry I can not spell everything out for most people to understand. That is the problem with texting. But I am sure that will make no sense either.

  25. I just became a fan of this show Logan is so down to earth and has great guests. Thanks for this

  26. @S T or maybe his vocabulary makes it harder for you understand? Jordan Peterson always explains the why scientifically with what is it by name or reference

  27. @Jacob Nevzoroff LOL. Way to go with the assumptions you make online with a stranger. Tell me more about myself since you know so much behind a screen. You are a genius. I can be anywhere between 5 years old to 75. Jordan Peterson is a hack. You comment is dumb.

  28. 1.1: patterns on focus. Focus on what you have or what’s missing
1.2:focus on what you can or can’t control.
1.3:focus on past, present or future

2:Well what does it mean? Regarding to emotions

3: action. Your action is a result of your emotion and meaning

  29. Do you recommend i read something specific for him for the concepts?

  30. He’s told this story so many times. 😂 I love when people invite Tony say how there big fans and be amazed to hear a story every real fan has heard years ago 😂 Great lesson tho

  31. @Metal Bum he says the same stuff all the time. I can’t believe they pay that. I prefer the real Tony ya know Jim Rohn

  32. @Be Prepared For What’s Coming dude I am from Saudi Arabia and planed to mock the guy who wrote the first comment (just a racist joke about us to tease him) but you did it before me. Talking bad about my religion is something I can’t compensate, dude do you know the biggest guru scammer is Jesus cuz where is the grandfather?? Does he have a family tree like breeding species? Or you believe in a religion your god had a fling weirdo!

  33. @Be Prepared For What’s Coming Jesus taught the settlers violence daah

  34. @MadDad540 I have it but im not so full of myself like you are. Weed is just like Alcohol or any other drug. Safer and healthier yeah, but the same in everything else. Smoked everyday for 3 years and stoped months ago. Only smoked twice with my girl cause why not. But to say its ppls fault and not weeds like addiction ain’t a thing is crazy.

  35. @bucketoclock he hasn’t been to the other side yet is what it is , the drug will change the way you think when you least expect it then the brain becomes its own maze you have to get out off which is where intense psychology work comes in or defeat , based on class a but it will do the same
