Photo of the Hurricane Camille Memorial at Biloxi Mississippi

Photo – Hurricane Camille Memorial

The Church of the Redeemer and Hurricane Camille Memorial photograph will always remain one of my fondest memories. Jean and I visited and captured the image before Katrina devastated the area.

The memorial photograph is a testament to God’s protecting power and a symbol of hope and faith for those who view it today.

It also serves as a reminder of the resilience and faith of the local people who persevered despite the destruction caused by Hurricane Camille.

History of the Memorial

The historic picture of the Hurricane Camille Memorial shows the beauty of nature, as well as one of the few churches that survived the hurricane’s destructive power unscathed – The Church of the Redeemer, located in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Built in 1917 in Spanish Colonial Style, it is still standing today.
