You may have a hard time reaching your back. You also have to make sure that you have a few hours to hang out naked after you apply sunless tanning lotions. You cannot sit down or put on clothing until the lotion has had time to sink into your skin or you will get it on your clothes and furniture.
Another tips is to make sure you scrub thoroughly with every shower afterwards so you are shedding tan skin onto your clothing. The suntan can look great, but you should know it is a lot of work.
