  1. Where did you get your music background Julia! All of your travel vlogs are so beautiful plus the music background really helped us feel like we were also in there. 😅

  2. I normally shoot landscapes at F11 so I can get the whole shot in focus I wonder if the landscapes would have looked different?

  3. Omg I love the photo at 11:00!!! I shoot on my 35 but I also love bringing my 85 when I travel and road trip cause it gives me more reach for things that are really far away.

  4. That looks super cool and fun with all the adventure and hiking❤️ love it

  5. Really like the clouds coming off of the tops of the trees. Great pictures

  6. I love what you said about the little detail shots among the landscapes. It really does tell a story.

  7. I love watching your videos first thing in the morning while I’m drinking my coffee. It’s the perfect wake me up

  8. He is the guy from How to pose for guys!! That’s a good cameo haha

  9. Well as I live in Austria, I can only say, Yes we do have a really beautiful country with so many beautiful landscapes. U took really nice pics and made again a really nice video.

  10. I love moody trees in mist/fog. Always look forward to your videos 😁

  11. as always awesome! Thank you! And i looove your boots! where did you get them? 🙂

  12. Yes it would definitely look different! I prefer using wider apertures for a few reasons, I like the softness it creates in a landscape so I can focus on something in particular and have the rest be out (especially with portraits), the fact that the landscapes we were shooting with are so large and in the background means that at 1.4 or f2, you can still make out clearly what’s in the background. If we were shooting for example in a city or with a landscape closer to the subject, then I would consider bumping up my aperture to make sure the background is not just a blob haha. And also these photos I just take for myself for the memories of the places I visited, so I just like the style/softness of shooting wide open 🙂

  13. Thank you so much and yes I agree, Austria is absolutely gorgeous!

  14. Thank you so much! Yess an 85 even though it’s known as the “best” portrait lens, really would be nice to have while travelling

  15. Thank you!! I love picking music for my travel vlogs so that means a lot 🙂 I get all my music from Artlist!

  16. Thank you and me too! I don’t see much fog where I live in Australia so it’s always fun getting to experience that when I’m travelling 😊

  17. Thank you! They are Dr Martens 🙂 Just the standard black ones!

  18. What a great video! lots of variety in the shots and what a gorgeous trip 🙂

  19. I love how you always include the f stop and iso ect… It helps me learn on my own camera 🙌🏼
    Love your work Julia

  20. @Julia Trotti I agree! As im still a newbie to the photography world. Can I ask what mode you use? Stunning photos BTW

  21. Hard to beat Austria. We went in the winter last year and it was amazing.

  22. It’s super relaxing to watch your travel series. Best way to end a stressful day. Send you a lot of wishes and love

  23. @Julia Trotti Thank you for this long explanation! As a landscape shooter (who thinks about getting into portrait photography, that’s how I stumbled upon your awesome channel), I use higher apertures usually and was also wondering why you prefer to stay in the lower f-numbers. Which makes sense, according to your explanation. Great that you enjoyed Austria. I love living here! 🙂
