As a travel photographer, I love traveling to Nevada and other points west. But, I also love looking at Nevada pics from other great visual artists.
“Nevada is officially known as the “Silver State” because of the importance of silver to its history and economy. It is also known as the “Battle Born State” because it achieved statehood during the Civil War (the words “Battle Born” also appear on its state flag); as the “Sagebrush State”, for the native plant of the same name; and as the “Sage-hen State”.
The Snowy State of Nevada
The name means “snowy” in Spanish, referring to Nevada’s small overlap with the Sierra Nevada mountain range.
However, the rest of Nevada is largely desert and semi-arid, much of it within the Great Basin.”
The creator and photographer of this photo video says;
“Here are a few cool pictures taken in this wonderful state we call home.”
A Quick Video with Nevada Pics & Such
And, I come very close to calling this area home because Jean & I have traveled here so often. I love the Southwestern USA desert and want to share this video with you.
