Types of Modeling

Plus Size and Petite Modeling

Plus Size and Petite Modeling

by Bob Pardue

Although not as lucrative or plentiful as some other types of modeling, there is a place for plus size models. You still want to have a nicely proportionate body to qualify as a plus size model.

Physical Requirements for Plus Size Models

Age: 18 - 27 years old

Height: 5' 7" - 5' 11"

Dress Size: 10 - 18

Bust: 32" - 34"

Waist: 21" - 25"

Hips: 32" - 34"

A tough living in this field but you can make some extra spending money this way.

Petite Modeling

As with plus modeling, your body needs to be well-proportioned and toned. You'll want to be dynamite in a smaller size to pursue petite modeling.

Physical Requirements for Petite Models

Age: 11 - 28 years old

Height: 5' 3" - 5' 8"

I've worked with many petite models and must say that I have been impressed with many of them. You go girl!
