These cities boast the top list agents like Ford, Elite and IMG. You need to be normally 5'9" or taller with a slim build to qualify. You'll also need perfect teeth, good complexion and hair. A good rule of thumb is to go with a color photo but you can also add a black and white photo to keep things interesting. A full figure photo is good. This is the time to do some posing in swimsuits or tight fitting sweaters to show off your figure if you wish, which is traditional attire for these shots, but fully clothed alternatives have grown in popularity today as well. Then you will need some fashion shots, casual shots, business shots, lifestyle and of course a few artistic lighting shots to round things out.
Applying to Model Agencies The best way to apply to a modeling agency is to first find out how they like to be contacted. Each one is different so it is suggested that you call or go to their website and look at their requirements for open cast call, etc. When you get an interview, dress casually and act naturally--in other words, just be yourself.
