If you have done a few photo shoots,
then you already know that the key to doing a great session
is portraying the right attitude in your shots.
For example, if the shoot is to create
a sultry, sexy ad for selling high heels or other romantic
products geared toward women, you wouldn't want to do
playful poses; instead, you would want to do a sexy
model pose that exudes sultriness in the final
pictures.
This is why the lesson here is so
important - especially if you plan to become a glamour or
commercial model for your career choice. If you sign with a
modeling
agency they might teach some
of this but, the more you know, the more power you'll have
in the model industry.
How to Give Sexy Modeling
Poses
Before you ever start a shoot, make
sure you understand what the feel of the photos should be -
if your photographer doesn't tell you what that should be,
then ask.

Learn These Model Pose
Rules
No matter if the photographer wants a
sexy model pose, a classic model pose, or something else,
there are certain things you should remember to do in all
poses:
Breathe. Holding your breathe
can throw your whole pose off.
Keep your arms and legs loose,
and don't make them stiff. If it can bend, bend it.
Your arms and wrists are rarely
straight in real life, so don't make them straight in
a photo shoot either.
Skip the cheesy grin.
Instead, the smile (or no smile in some cases)
that is best for the mood of the shoot.
Don't always look straight at
the camera. Looking to one side, for example, can give
the photo an air of mystery.
Learning how
to become a female model and
give a sexy model pose is just one small part of becoming a
fashion or commercial model but it's definitely a start.
Your career can take a while to develop so make sure you
start today by looking at magazines showing poses you can
learn from and practice whenever possible in front of the
camera - or at least the mirror. You will get better and
better at poses allowing you to instantly follow directions
of the photographer during your photo shoot. When he says;
"I want to see a sexy model pose." you'll answer with; "Here
it is." instead of "What's that?".
