Learning how to pose is not rocket
science but there is some technique involved in female
modeling posing you should consider - before you step in
front of the photographer and his/her camera.
Knowing how to create new ideas and
becoming natural takes study and practice so do both daily
if you want a real career.
ONE: Connect with Your
Photographer
One of the most important steps you
can take during a female photo shoot is to connect with your
photographer. There is a certain rapport built between the
photo shooter and the model which will show in your
pictures. Many young women, and especially teenagers are
tense at the beginning of the session. Don't progress until
you are ready! If you are nervous, wait until you feel
really comfortable before posing.
TWO: Listen to
Instructions
Your photographer is looking at you
and your poses through the lens. He or she knows what looks
right or awkward and will direct you in each pose if you
will allow and listen. Now, this doesn't mean you shouldn't
recommend new ideas for poses you want to try - not at all!
Just make sure the photo shoot is a collaboration between
you and your photographer and you both win with absolutely
incredible pictures!
As stated above, bring your
female
model posing ideas to the
session with you. Be spontaneous and have fun. Give an
expression - if the photographer says it didn't work, then
try a different look and pose. Don't stop. Keep him or her
shooting until they say words like beautiful, gorgeous,
sexy, AWESOME!!! Now you are a professional in the modeling
field and can do posing worthy of any magazine!
