Ever Fantasize about Looking Unique? Evenings call for a step away from the normal daytime look. You might want to risk fantasy or exotic looks, or just a more powerful, well-defined version of your usual appearance. If the eyes are the windows of the soul, then the eyebrows are the frames and should be groomed well.
Eyebrows - There Should be Two Plucking and tweezing are not always necessary, but should be carefully executed to create matching natural arches over the eyes. For that special look, use an eye pencil that's about one shade darker than your natural color and apply it with very light, feathery strokes. You do not want it to look as though you have drawn your eye brows into place.
Aim for a symmetrical, but not extreme look. When it comes to eye shadow, it is important to prepare the eye for the color it will receive. Once you have decided on the color palette for your eyes, you will chose three colors, a light, a medium, and a darker shade with which to work.
Eyeshadow for Hazel or Brown Eyes The darker color your eyes, for example, hazel or brown, the darker shades you may choose for dramatic eye make up. If your eyes are light colored, such as blue or green, stick with lighter shades. Your first step will be applying the lightest color from lid to brow bone to set a highlight.
Add your medium color from lid to crease and your dark color in the crease itself, blending layers well. Your eyeliner should be a thin dark color. Apply from inner corner to outside of upper lid. You can extend it a little for a more dramatic look.
An Eyeliner Tip If you place some eyeliner on your lower lid, come in from outer corner but do not connect your lines. Smudging adds a nice smoky effect to your look. Use a good eyelash curler and two thin coats of dark mascara applied with little vibrating strokes up the lashline and you are ready to go and, you look really beautiful.
