A Quick Look at Female Model and Heiress Edie Sedgwick
You may not have heard of female model Edie Sedgwick so you’re in for a treat today! This quick story tells a little about the life of the heiress and her personality – hope you enjoy!
Edith Minturn “Edie” Sedgwick was an American actress, socialite, model and heiress.
She is ideal known for being one of Andy Warhol’s superstars. Sedgwick became known as “The Girl of the Year” in 1965 after starring in several of Warhol’s short films, in the 1960s. Dubbed an “It Girl”, Vogue magazine likewise named her a “Youthquaker”.
She was born in Santa Barbara, California, to Alice Delano de Forest (19081988) and Francis Minturn Sedgwick, (19041967, known as either “Duke” or “Fuzzy”), a philanthropist, rancher and sculptor.
Edie is an easy going person by nature. She takes things lightly and proceeds with goals in an easy manner.
But if required, she can work for long hours. This is the work ethic of most female supermodels and I hope you’ll find inspiration from Edie Sedgwick to move forward in your modeling career.
