Girls love to dress up as a completely different character for these type masquerade parties and events so choosing the right outfit is paramount. And, this is not about the issue of accessories such as masks, boots, belts, teeth, wigs and the like. Here are some suggestions about rental stores.

No matter how old or young you are, a great Halloween costume makes the holiday that much more special. For that reason, more and more, I am considering costume rentals. For years, I have always bought my Halloween clothing and accessories. Let me explain why I am switching and why I think that Halloween costume rentals are the way to go.

Budget reasons

First of all, Halloween costumes are expensive - or, at least, they can be. More and more you see these elaborate costumes that are impressive, and costly. Halloween is a time for fun, not breaking your wallet. Yes, there are discount Halloween costumes that you might be able to find for under twenty dollars, but buyer beware. The old saying of you get what you pay for comes into play here. A cheap costume looks cheap, there simply is no way around it.

Cost and quality of your costume

So, if you do plan on spending a decent amount of money on a costume, you should consider Halloween costume rentals. Why? Well, even Halloween costume rentals are more expensive than most of the intermediate costumes out there. But that still does not make them one thing: cheaper.

Get the costume you really want to show

If your goal is to truly wow people this Halloween with your Halloween outfit this year, going the route of costume rentals will actually yield you the best value. By and large, costume rentals are much more sophisticated and impressive costumes, with all of the accessories added in.

The accessory expense

When you buy a costume, you often have to buy all of these accessories separately. Not so when it comes to costume rentals, and yes, they professionally dry clean the costumes for you.

Now, many people would suggest that buying a costume is the smarter way to shop, because then you always have the costume to wear next year and the year after. Or, you might want to save it to wear for a special photo shoot. Although this seems right, it really isn't.

Stay current

After all, you are looking for a new costume this year, aren't you? If you buy an Avitar costume this Halloween, how much is it going to be worth next year? You would be surprised at the number of items I have bought and thought, yes, I can wear this for many Halloween parties to come, only to grow to hate the dresses, skirts and other costume ideas I once loved, a year or two later. My closet is full of costumes that I do not want to wear again. No more, I am looking at costume rentals.

Get the complete outfit

Regardless of what you plan to wear this October 31st, just remember that costume rentals give you more spending power and normally include many accessories that turn into additional charges when you buy your costume locally or online.

Renting is the option I'm going for but you might have other ideas. You might be planning to make your own costume and, if you are creative, I'd say go for it to develop originality but, as for me? - I'm heading out for shops that offer costume rentals today. You see? I am not so gifted in that area of making or designing my own clothing.
