By Various presented by Bob Pardue
If you have even a passing interest in the
topic of digital cameras, then you should take a look at the
following information. This enlightening article presents some of the
latest news on the subject of digital cameras.
I have had very little experience with digital
cameras, and very little of it was positive. Up until I got my 5
megapixel camera, I thought that a film camera was the only way to
go. This is because I gave up too early. All I had ever used was a
camera phone. It had horrible resolution. I think it was something
like 2.1 megapixels. It looked so blocky that it was almost
impossible to tell what you were looking at.
Is everything making sense so far? If not, I'm
sure that with just a little more reading, all the facts will fall
into place.
Now that I have a Canon Powershot 5.0 megapixel
digital camera, I know better. The image is brilliant. There is no
other way to describe it. The has not replaced the
film camera yet, but it has come close. Although a film camera still
has a better picture, it is not that much better. Most 5 megapixel
cameras definitely give old film cameras a run for their money. If
the image is not quite as good, it certainly is close. Besides that,
the advantages of using a 5 megapixel camera over a film camera are
obvious. You do not have to pay for film or wait for the picture to
be

the way to go!
Of course, there is a downside to a 5 megapixel
camera. First of all, they are fragile. Cameras in general can be
easily damaged, but much more can go wrong with a digital camera.
There are a million different ways that the sensitive electronics can
get ruined by being slightly jarred or banged around. Besides that,
people steal digital cameras all the time. When I first got my 5
megapixel camera, no less than three people tried to grab it from me.
Fortunately, each time I had it secured to the strap and was able to
ward them off. Even so, I still react with caution whenever anyone
walks too close to me if I am wearing my camera around my neck. I
don't want to lose it, after all. It costs a small
fortune.
Despite all of these downsides, I think it is
still worth it. My 5 megapixel camera has really changed the way I
see the world. It is an incredible experience to be able to capture
any image that I see. Before, I had to carefully select every image.
I never knew how it would come out until I had developed the film.
Now I can see it immediately!
Don't limit yourself by refusing to learn the
details about digital cameras. The more you know, the easier it will
be to focus on what's important.
