There are many ways you can combine the terms of "healthy food" and "fast food".  However, it does take a little planning on your part. 

 

One might think due to recent advertising on television that it is easier to get healthy fast food choices from fast food restaurants.  It is time to take a serious look at that.  One can look under "fast food choices" in the web browser, and it will come up with a list of most of the fast food restaurants. 

 

It gives lists of all of the nutritional information for everything on their menus.  Below are just a few samples to show some of the foods and snacks you are eating and thinking you are healthy in making these choices:

Even if this list covers only a small representation of two restaurants, with space permitting the statistics from all other restaurants would list very similar numbers. 

 

Whereas the calories in some items do not seem to be too bad, the amount of sodium in each item is a real shocker.  There is absolutely no health benefit to eating that much sodium.  Actually it can be extremely dangerous to the heart to ingest high levels of sodium. 

 

Many doctors tell patients to watch their intake of salt, and they never give it a thought that they are eating so much salt in salads in a fast food restaurant!Friends, we need to seriously take note of the foods that we eat when we are on the go, when we are eating fast foods. 

 

Give a second thought to just "grabbing something" along the way because it is hard to find healthy fast food choices.  We are going to plan ahead, and maybe pack our snacks or lunches with us and eat some healthier choices.  The health benefits you will achieve is more than a better diet now, but a longer , healthier life.
