If you are a female model, especially between 18 and 25 years, there is another opportunity available besides the standard high fashion or catalog jobs. Have you every thought of becoming a promotional model? Here are some getting started tips you should study.

What is a promotional model?

In a nutshell, promo modeling girls are those you might see at a racetrack giving out credit card brochures or “manning” a booth at a commercial trade show. There are variations such as bar promotions but these are the staple jobs for models.

Requirements

Mostly teenagers and young adults, male and female are eligible but the norm for women is 5’6″ tall and you need to be very attractive, outgoing and able to sell in some cases.

There are agencies, some on the conventional list, who represent promo modeling hopefuls so make as many contacts to reputable agencies and ask about an interview for promotions modeling jobs. You could be one of the few selected and working soon!
