Ever since I was very young, I have always enjoyed free samples. I think that everyone likes the idea of getting something for nothing. I used to love free food samples of the grocery store.

I would try anything – even foods that I did not normally like – if was offered to me on a little toothpick on a tray. I would take free newspapers from the stands – even ones that I wasn't very interested in. My favorite, however, were the free beauty samples.

When my mom would take me down to the mall, I would go up to the cosmetic counter. From the time was very little, I would use all the free beauty and cosmetic samples I could get my hands on. I would spray various perfume testers all over me until you could smell the coming up walk away.

If the ladies at the makeup counter were nice, I would have them give me free makeovers with the makeup samples available. Sometimes they didn't do – they knew I was too young to be wearing makeup, and that I was not planning on purchasing anything. Nonetheless, other times they would help me out anyway. Many of them, I'm sure, liked free beauty samples when they were little too!

I Still Love Free Beauty Product Samples

As I have grown older, My appreciation of free beauty samples has not diminished. If anything, has increased. Nowadays, after all, I have a lot more use for beauty products.

I am not old yet, but I am approaching my middle 30s. As such, having the right skincare cosmetics and beauty products has gone from being a luxury to being a necessity. After all, is important to start taking care of your skin when you're still relatively young. Otherwise, will wrinkle.

The great thing about free beauty samples is that they allow you to keep abreast of the latest developments in cosmetics. I have some favorite products which I use regularly.

Choosing Good Makeup Brands

Makeup can be confusing. I am in my thirties and I am still not sure what I am doing half of the time. The biggest reason for the confusion, at least on my part, is that there is always something new coming out that is supposed to be the newest and latest thing that I cannot live without.

It is hard to know what will work and what won’t, and it can hurt to spend ten dollars on something that simply does not do what it promises. Most people find that by sticking with their favorite makeup brands they can avoid this issue most of the time.

Most of us started out using our mother’s makeup brands because that is what was in the house. When we start buying our own, we do sometimes stick with those brands of makeup, but we also like to try new things.

We may want to save some money, or we may see an advertisement that offers something that solves a problem we are facing. Through all of this, we tend to find out what our favorite makeup brands really are. It is often a process of trial and error, and there are times when we find something we like from each company. That is when things get tough.

I am one of the ones that has quite a few favorite makeup brands and try to get free samples of these cosmetic beauty products. If you were to look in my makeup case, you would see at least six different brands in there. That means that I am more susceptible to trying something that looks promising no matter who makes it.

Sadly, this has cost me some money. Until recently, I had a drawer full of cosmetics that simply did not work as they were supposed to. I finally threw them out, and it was a painful thing. There was a lot of money in that drawer.

If you find just a few makeup brands that you know you can trust, try to stick with them. That does not mean that you can’t try others, but you can save money if you don’t go overboard on each and every new thing that comes out on the market.

You should always look for free samples of new things so you can really try them out first. Some makeup brands even sell trial packages so you can try things before you buy.

The trails often cost around a dollar or two, and that is a great way to try something without spending a lot. Makeup can be tricky, and what works for one person may not work for you. That’s why taking your time and remaining loyal can often save you money and can help you get the look you want.

Nonetheless, I am not loyal to any particular brands. If a new skin moisturizer comes out, I will give it a try. If I like , I will buy and change cosmetic product brands instantly. New facial moisturizers, cleansers, and other beauty products come out all the time. Getting to try them out gives me the option of switching when something better comes along.

Whether I find them in magazines, at the makeup counter, or in a friend's bathroom – I never hesitate to put something new on my skin. After all, there is no harm in trying!
