How to Rid
Yourself of Bags Under Your Eyes
Follow This Advice and You can Get Rid of
Dark Circles Under the Eyes and Become More
Beautiful
Having dark heavy bags under your eyes
can make you look way less than your best. Even if you are
young, pretty and feel fine, having dark circles under the
eyes gives people the impression that youre sick,
tired, stressed, or a lot older than you really
are.
What Causes Dark Circles?
Some people seem to be especially
prone to developing this baggy eye syndrome, and others
never seem to suffer form it at all. What causes bags under
your eyes, and how can you get rid of them?
Bags under your eyes are a result of a
fluid buildup in the soft and especially elastic tissues of
that are of your face. They can develop for a number of
reasons.
The fact is that 9 out of 10 people do
at one time or another have those pesky bags under the eyes
because of numerous possible (or combined) sources. Here are
a few ...
- Vitamin
deficiency
- Poor diet
- Sun Damage
- Overuse ( such as long term
computer monitor-reading)
- Too little
sleep
- Allergies
- Genetics or
heredity
- Smoking cigarettes ( not to
mention all the other hazards of smoke)
- Disease or illness (or organ
damage)
- Natural aging
process
- Stressful
living
So the next thing you might want to
know is what to do about those bags under your eyeshow
to lessen the bags or lighten the dark circles.
Turn Off the TV and Go to Sleep
Not getting enough sleep is often a
culprit, though the reason this leads to a build up of
fluids is not completely understood. So, for starters, make
sure and put in your 8 hours every night.
Don't Drink and See - Get Rid of
Stress and Eye Bags
Alcohol can cause you to retain
fluids, and if you frequently get bags under your eyes you
should avoid drinking. A lot of studies have shown a clear
connection between stress and baggy eyes as well.
Stress and lack of sleep are likely
connected, and have the same root cause for bags under your
eyes. Also, many people develop puffy eyes in response to
allergies.
How Do You Get Rid of Bags Under Your
Eyes?
There are several things you can do to
help prevent bags under your eyes.
First of all, youll want to make
sure youre not just having some allergies, so you
should see a doctor.
Allergies can often be treated, which
may in turn cure the bags under your eyes as well. If its
not allergies, try sleeping with your head slightly
elevated; doing this personally made a big difference for
me.
Gravity alone can sometimes contribute
to the fluid buildup beneath your eyes. And while its often
easier said than done, do what you can to get a full
nights sleep and avoid too much stress.
Relax, and Go Bagless
Look into some relaxation techniques,
cut back on your caffeine intake, get more exercise, or take
a vacation. All of these sorts of things will help lower
stress and may work wonders in preventing bags under your
eyes.
A Side Tip about Dark Circles Under
Your Eyes
You should treat your under-eye with a
quality beauty product. Granted there are infinite ones out
there. The best way to find one that's right for you is
browsing.
With the Internet close at hand, you
can sift through various under-eye treatment products, and
even read reviews by past customers. They will give your
feedback on whether or not they recommend this product. Now,
it doesn't get any easier than that.
Diet and Eye Care
A second solution is diet. Eat healthy
and drink plenty of water. This will have a significant
effect on your appearance. Hey, I like coffee as much as the
next guy, but the fact is we can't simply live on caffeine.
You certainly need to keep your body hydrated if you plan to
avoid dark circles under eyes.
Alternative Treatment of Eye
Bags
Once you have developed bags under
your eyes, one recommended treatment is to place something
cool, relatively heavy, and wet over your eyes while lying
down for 15 or more minutes.
There are loads of suggestions on what
to use, but Ive found that just about anything with
some weight to it will help. Essentially what youre
doing is compressing the fluids out of the tissue, so I
dont think it matters too much what you
use.
A Drastic Measure but You Might
Consider a Procedure
As a last resort, there is a surgical
procedure that will eliminate bags under your eyes. If you
are especially prone to this condition, and have tried
everything else, ask your doctor about it.
