To create decent model portfolios, you want at least five photographs, but not more than twenty. The minimum five that you need will be the following: one smiling and a serious head-shot, a full body shot, a profile head shot and the last would be a full-body swimwear shot, or at least one in tight fitting clothes to show your form.

Cut the "bad" ones

These five photos should be as close to excellent as possible. If you only have five perfect pictures, ONLY use the five. Do not stuff your modeling portfolio with twenty images if most of them are not appropriate.
