A woman or teen girl who is just
starting out is normally fearful of giving the right poses
when she is in front of the photographer's camera. But,
there is no need to be. Once you learn
to become a model along with a
few tips you'll be posing like a pro and making your
model
poses natural and
clean.
ONE- Be comfortable with your body.
There is nothing worse than a stiff or
uncomfortable pose. Many females concentrate on their flaws
and shortcomings which is dangerous in modeling.
You need to know yourself well enough
so that you can downplay those faults and concentrate on
building up your strong points.
5 Quick Female
Model Posing Tips - Video & Written
Also, choose outfits that will enhance
your body and your beauty. Use the right angles for your
body size and type when you pose. As the old saying goes -
"show your good side.".
TWO
- Get out the mirror
Look into the mirror and practice your
posing daily. No matter if you are studying to
learn
high fashion model poses ,
editorial, glamour or art, there is absolutely no substitute
for this in female model posing. Most models started to
learn in this same way. They did not become professional
models overnight, no matter what the tabloids say. Get one
pose down, and then work on another. Jot them down on paper
and pretty soon you've got a long list of poses your can
give on command. Now, you're getting somewhere!
THREE
- Female body posing positions
Never, ever turn your body straight
towards the camera. Most photographers will instruct you to
put your weight on one foot or the other, turn your waist
and look back - rather that standing straight on. The only
exception is that you want to look larger for some reason
(can't imagine why). Keep this in mind and train yourself
when looking in your mirror (above).
If you are really having a challenge
with understanding how you look to the camera, then hiring a
modeling coach might be something to consider. Sometimes,
just reading some female model posing tips like these is not
enough. You need some practical knowledge which a good
modeling coach can help you with. He or she can teach you to
pose in ways that enhance what you already have.
FOUR
- Think and believe
The next female model posing tip has
to do with your way of thinking. There are tons of books on
this subject including the well-known edition - "Think and
Grow Rich" which says confidence builds or dies upon our
beliefs.
If you start believing that you are a
model, you will work more on the details such as poses,
expressions, and other features that will make you one.
Believe and achieve is a favorite saying of mine. You should
adopt it too! After all, you are a model, aren't
you?
FIVE
- The most important of the new female model posing
tips
Get in front of the camera!! Yes,
doing is almost always better than studying. Find some
reputable female model photographers in your area and see if
they offer tfp (time for print) or test photo shoots. Some
do. Then, work with as many as you can.
You'll not only learn to pose better
but you'll start to accumulate some wonderful pictures for
your modeling portfolio along the way. Take every
opportunity to pose in front of the camera. The experience
will be invaluable and you'll learn something different with
every photo shoot, I promise.
SUMMARY -
Take action!!
Now, I know these female model posing
tips are not complete - there is much more to learn but, for
new
female models who want to get
started and learn how, this is a good place to begin. The
only question now is; When are you going to start? Today?
YES!!!!
