Acne
Acne is a common problem that many
teenagers face. It can be very embarrassing for many
teenagers who are at a very delicate time in their lives.
With the many pressures teens face, it can be an added
burden that interferes with a young persons self
esteem and confidence. For some of us, a pimple was not much
of a concern throughout our youth.
A High School Teen Girl with Clear
Skin - A Myth? Some Girls Don't Have Facial Acne
No, it's not a skincare myth! I was
one of the fortunate, clear-skinned girls in my high school.
Fortunately, I never had to use any acne treatment or use
topical medicine for outbreak relief.
I did get the occasional zit and I
always had the noticeable breakout right before a special
event. The blemish usually appeared right on the center of
my nose or right in the middle of my forehead. The blemish
would sprout on the morning of a special event.
I had an acne breakout right before
the Junior Miss Pageant and I think that this may have
contributed to my being cut out of the final ten. It may
have been the fact that Im five-two and a little
clumsy, but I like to think that my skin problem was the
cause of the Junior Miss elimination. I may have gotten the
pimples because I was under stress. It disappeared and, once
I found out that I was cut I had a cure.
I wasnt the least bit nervous
before my prom, but suddenly, there it was. I found a huge
blemish right on the tip of my nose. Covering it up with
makeup only made it worse. I didnt let the spot on my
nose ruin my night, but it was so big that my eyes were
beginning to cross, being drawn to the bright-red dot. I had
a good sense of humor about it. I did put my gown back on a
week later to get pictures taken. I wonder if I can crop my
prom date into the pictures. Acne or no, I still had a great
time.
As you can plainly see, there is
something to be said for learning more about taking care of
skin whether you are young or adult, male or female. Can you
think of ways to apply what's been covered about this
conditions so far? Read as much as you can about female teen
and adult acne treatments to find ways to clear up your face
or body.
Today, I find myself in a new
situation when it comes to unsightly blemishes. Im now
adult age and I use moisturizer. What Im finding is
that my skin tends to be a bit oily and I am having acne
breakouts after moisturizing my face.
I am very irritated that I need to
combat wrinkles and rosacea at the same time and I'm on the
lookout for help online. One of the things to look forward
to as you get older is the absence of acne. I guess I still
have a lot of growing up to do.
This brief report's coverage about
acne is as complete and natural as could be researched. But
you should always leave open the possibility that future
articles could uncover new facts about women's facial skin
care or cystic condition.
